I would like to inform you that since the last informal e-mail (22 December 2004) of the Communication and Outreach Branch (COB) of the International Association of Geodesy (IAG), further development has been carried out on the IAG new Website (http://www.iag-aig.org). Individual IAG Members have received their personal login data, which enables them to see the member's section of the IAG Website as well as to query the contact database. The contact information of the members is stored in a database, which can be updated by the members through the website. Moreover basic queries can also be done through the website.

Most probably you know that IAG has recently introduced the individual membership as one of the new elements of the new IAG structure. The Membership Application Form 2005 in PDF, and the rights and privileges of the individual members listed can be downloaded from this IAG new website.

One of the highlight events of the IAG this year is the Scientific Assembly organized jointly with IAPSO and IABO as Dynamic Planet 2005. All information can be found on the conference website (www.dynamicplanet2005.com) or through our IAG website.
